3. Mobile Network Repeaters -
We sell mobile network repeaters to NZ's telecommunications operators (2degrees, Telecom, Vodafone). The purpose of repeaters is to re-transmit the operators' radio waves, to improve coverage. Repeaters are great if they are well designed and set-up correctly, however, if they are not, they can bring down the mobile network! Yes, that's right - ruin the coverage for other people. So, if you are thinking about buying a repeater and bringing it in from overseas, or see someone selling a repeater on TradeMe (illegal by the way), please refrain from obtaining and installing it, unless you have permission from your provider, as you alone can jeopordise the network. If you do install one without permission, you are liable for prosecution and the consequences (and fines) that come with it. (Not sure what a repeater is? Click here and we can teach you).

Good news for 2degrees Mobile customers as we now have an agreement with 2degrees, providing you are a 2degrees customer and under their 'canopy' coverage, we can work with you to get a repeater authorised and set up with them. Thus, a wireless solution to boost virtually an endless number of devices (voice and data). See this page to view a repeater set-up and contact us if you would like to know more.
